Rs40 million looted from traders in Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI: Dauntless dacoits in Rawalpindi on Wednesday looted Rs40 million in cash from the traders who were travelling from Peshawar to Lahore in a bus.

The traders were going to Lahore to purchase cattle.

The passengers told the police that seven dacoits, who came in a car, intercepted the bus and robbed them of cash in Dhok Amb area in the jurisdiction of Jatli police station.
