GUJRANWALA: A man strangled his wife to death and set her body on fire in jurisdiction of Ladhewala police station in Gujranwala, police said on Sunday.
According to details, accused Sajid strangled his wife Marriyum by wrapping electric wire around her roll neck.
After killing wife, the culprit set her body on fire by sprinkling petrol and fled the scene.
The deceased had married the accused six months earlier after taking divorce from her first husband.
The police registered a case against murderer of wife and started raids for his arrest.I
