Teenage girl swept away after falls down from bridge into river

BALAKOT: A teenage girl was swept away by gushing water waved after fell down from bridge into river in Kaghan, police said on Sunday.

According to details, due to dilapidated condition of wooden planks of a bridge, 18-year-old daughter of Muhammad Miskeen slipped and fell down into River Kunhar in Kandaran.

The girl was swept away by the fast flowing river water.

Rescue 1122, police and local volunteers were engaged to search the body of the girl.
