ISLAMABAD: Submission of applications for the Hajj 2024 under regular scheme started Monday.
People aspiring to perform Hajj under the government scheme can submit their applications to 15 banks by December 12.
According to the statement issued by the Ministry of Religious Affairs, 89,605 Pakistanis will perform pilgrimage under the government scheme next year.
And in case more applications are received, balloting will be done.
For the first time, women will be able to perform their religious obligation without their male companions (Mehram).
Moreover, applicants for the passports will get their Hajj applications processed on the tokens given to them.
As many as 25,000 applications will be submitted under the sponsorship scheme while balloting will be done on the applications received under the regular scheme.
