Ex-PTI Minister sent to jail on judicial remand

BANNU: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf’s (PTI’s) former provincial minister Malik Shah Muhammad was sent to jail on judicial remand by the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Saturday.

Muhammad was arrested by the police on the cancellation of his bail in the May 9 incidents, in which he was accused of arson and inciting people. Speaking to the media after his arrest, Muhammad said that he respected the courts and would continue to stand with the PTI.

The ATC judge sent Muhammad to jail on judicial remand and ordered the police to produce him in court on the next hearing date.
