Imran Khan’s close aide quits politics, condemns May 9 violence

ISLAMABAD: A close aide of PTI Chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan has announced quitting politics while condemning the May 9 violence.

In a video message, Nadeem Haroon Khan from Kasur said he is leaving politics. “May 9 was a national tragedy and that is why I am quitting politics as I prefer Pakistan to politics,” Nadeem Haroon, who was once PTI’s candidate from NA-131 Kasur, added.

He further said he condemned the May 9 violence and he and his circle of friends regretted it.
