NAB summons KP ex-health minister Taimur Jhagra in goods procurement case

PESHAWAR: Former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) health minister Taimur Khan Jhagra has been summoned to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Peshawar office.

The NAB has started investigations into the alleged irregularities in the procurement of goods during the coronavirus pandemic in KP when Taimur Khan Jhagra was the health minister. The NAB issued notices to Jhagar and the officials of the KP health department and summoned the former to the NAB office today.

According to the text of the notice, KPRA rules and other laws were violated in the purchase of goods during the coronavirus pandemic.
