Punjab Police seek Army, Rangers deployment during Muharram

LAHORE: Punjab Police on Wednesday suggested to the home department to call Pakistan Army and Rangers as well as to jam cellphones during the holy month of Muharram.

A letter will be written to the Center following approval of these proposals by the cabinet committee.

The home department has said that final decision in this regard will be taken by tomorrow.
