Imran’s sister faces legal trouble in land fraud probe

LAHORE: Uzma Khan, sister of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan, has found herself entangled in a legal dispute as the Anti-Corruption Faisalabad registered a case against her on Tuesday.

The allegations revolve around the fraudulent transfer of valuable land in the subdivision of Athara Hazari in Jhang.

Local authorities have taken a keen interest in the case, which accuses Uzma Khan of acquiring 300 kanals of land through fraudulent means.

According to sources within the anti-corruption agency, Khan allegedly gained ownership of Chak No. 7/2 Thal South and Chak No. 11/2 Thal South in Attara Hazari by employing fraudulent tactics and forgery.

As a result of these accusations, nine individuals, including the Tehsildar, Naib Tehsildar, Patwari, and Land Record Center staff, have been included in the First Information Report (FIR) alongside Uzma Khan.

The Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) has swiftly taken action, leading to the arrest of the naib tehsildar and patwari involved in the case.
