27 PTI workers again held for meeting Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD: Police in Lahore on Sunday again arrested 27 PTI workers, who had been released recently after it was found out that they had visited the Zaman Park residence of former prime minister and PTI Chairman Imran Khan after their release.

Quoting its sources, the TV channel reported that these workers were arrested at different police pickets while they were returning from Zaman Park.

They further disclosed that most of those arrested belonged to different districts of Punjab namely Kasur, Lahore, Gujranwala and Sargodha.

Following the arrest of former prime minister Imran Khan on May 9, the accused were named in instances including arson and vandalism assaults, violation of Section 144, and hate speeches against state institutions.
