BISP to pay Rs2000 to newborn male, Rs25000 female child

ISLAMABAD: Under Benazir Income Programme (BISP), a sum of rupees two thousands will be paid to parents on birth of male and twenty five hundred on birth of female child.

This was announced by Federal Minister Shazia Atta Mari in statement issued here on Friday.

She said that the BISP is ready to provide financial assistance to nine million families across the country.

The federal minister said that a significant increase will be made in the budget projects run under BISP.
