Rumours of PML-Z’s merger with PTI baseless: Ijaz-ul-Haq

ISLAMABAD: Chief of Pakistan Muslim League Zia (PML-Z) Ijaz-ul-Haq has ruled out the rumours of merger of his party with Iman Khan-led Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)

Responding to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), he was of the view that there is not reality in reports of merger of PML-Z with PTI.

Ijaz-ul-Haq clarified that during his meeting with Chairman PTI Imran Khan, he discussed coalition with PTI but not a merger. The ECP sought an answer from the PML-Z) chief Ijaz-ul-Haq about his party position.

Earlier on March 19, it was reported that Pakistan Muslim League Zia (PML-Z) chief Ijaz-ul-Haq formally joined Imran Khan-led PTI.
