ISLAMABAD: The federal government on Friday extended the field operation of digital census once again after withdrawing its previous decision to not make any extension.
The field operation of the digital census was extended till May 22 in provinces other than Balochistan. The verification process of the population census will be continued till May 31.
Earlier in the month, the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) had stated that the census will be completed in Punjab and Sindh divisions by May 15.
