LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has entrusted a committee to convince candidates over issuance of party tickets in Punjab to 30 new candidates.
The party has given responsibility to the committee to convince the PTI intending candidates.
The party committee will convince the PTI leaders and remove their reservations with regard to the party’s ticket holders, sources said.
According to sources, the party committee will convince the intending candidates for adjustment in local government elections and other offices.
“The review committee will instruct the party’s changed candidates to support ticket holders who replaced them,” a review committee member said.
“Party tickets have been issued after all candidates were finalize by the PTI chairman Imran Khan,” the member added.
