General elections to be held at stipulated time: Marriyum Aurangzeb

ISLAMABAD: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb has said the general elections will be held at the stipulated time and not at dictation of anybody.

In a series of tweets on Monday, she strongly criticized PTI Chairman Imran Khan for dissolving provincial assemblies of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at the behest of a person.

She said the PTI Chairman ridiculed the people and the representatives of Punjab and Pakhtunkhwa for the sake of power.

Marriyum Aurangzeb said neither the nation will pardon those who undermined the constitution, nor will we leave them. She said the country has to suffer situation like inflation and unemployment when persons like Imran Khan are imposed.

She asked the PTI chairman not to play with the people’s minds and do not lie to them.
