Pakistanis’ death toll in Dubai building collapse may rise

DUBAI: Pakistan Ambassador in UAE Faisal Niaz Tirmizi said that the death toll of Pakistani citizens in Dubai residential building fire is likely to rise further.

He said that Emirati authorities have identified eight people among the dead, four of whom are from India and one from Nigeria.

The Pakistani embassy is constantly in contact with the Emirati authorities to find out more about the Pakistani nationals who perished in the tragedy. he added.

It merits here to mention that 16 people, including three Pakistani nationals, died and nine others were injured in a massive fir that ripped through a residential building of Dubai on Saturday.
