ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has waived off all educational expenses for students from Balochistan and erstwhile FATA (Federally Administered Tribal Areas) studying in Islamia University Bahawalpur (IUB).
A notification to this effect has been issued by the university. According to the notification, federal government will pay fifty percent of students’ fee whereas rest of the fifty percent will be paid by the university.
This step has been taken to encourage students of Balochistan and formerly FATA to pursue their higher education.
