Two terrorists killed in operation in North Waziristan: ISPR

ISLAMABAD: Two suspected terrorists were killed in a counter-terrorism operation in the North Waziristan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the military said late on Sunday.

According to a statement released by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistan Army, security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in the Mir Ali town of the district.

During the counter-terror operation, an intense exchange of fire took place, “resulting in the killing of two terrorists,” the ISPR said.

Weapons and ammunition were seized from the terrorists, it added.

The ISPR said that the killed terrorists had been actively involved in terrorist activities against security forces and the killing of innocent people.
