AJK President, Amb Khan discuss Kashmir, other issues

MIRPUR [AJK]: Azad Jammu and Kashmir President Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry and Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States Sardar Masood Khan in New York on Sunday held detailed discussions on the way forward to promote Kashmir cause effectively at international forums, especially at the UN to ensure early peaceful settlement of the much-delayed global issued of Kashmir, it was officially said.

On the occasion, the duo expressed satisfaction over OIC’s joint declaration in which the Muslim body had voiced its serious concerns over the continued violence, bloodshed and human rights violations committed by the Indian occupation forces in the Indian occupied Kashmir, says  a message reaching and released to the media here Sunday night.

President Barrister Chaudhary and Ambassador Khan  reiterated their commitment to further amplify their efforts to sensitize the world about the worsening human rights situation in Kashmir and importance of the early resolution of the lingering conflict, the message added.
