Shah becomes JCP member

ISLAMABAD: Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah on Monday replaced retired judge Sajjad Ali Shah to become a member of the Judicial Commission of Pakistan (JCP).

Justice Shah was nominated for the post after the retirement of Ali Shah as a judge of the Supreme Court. He retired on August 13.

The commission is a commission which makes appointments and elevation of judges to the superior courts of the country.

Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial heads the apex body.
