In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) President Mehbooba Mufti in her remarks that are going sure to infuriate the ruling Hindutva regime of India has praised Pakistan and China over the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Mehbooba Mufti’s comments were carried
by Times Now, an English news channel in India. She also called for declaring the two regions of Kashmir – Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir and Azad Jammu and Kashmir – as a world peace zone.
She urged Narendra Modi-led Indian government to connect IIOJK with the world in the same manner Pakistan and China are doing with the AJK.
The PDP chief further suggested that the two parts of Jammu and Kashmir be declared a cooperation zone of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) and said that India should forget about becoming the guru (leader) of the world if it cannot even become the guru of the SAARC.
