SWAT: At least 11 people were killed and 6 others were seriously injured when a Suzuki pickup fell into a deep ravine in Gabin Jabba area, a tourist destination in Swat District late Tuesday.
According to police and health official, the incident happened when the Suzuki van tumbled off the road near the tourist area of Gabin Jabba in the Swat district. The van driver lost control over the vehicle while trying to take a turn, said police sources, adding that an investigation into the matter has been launched.
Following the accident, rescue teams and local volunteers reached the site and retrieved bodies and the injured, and shifted them to a nearby hospital where at least three of the injured are in a critical condition, police said.
