Four Sehwan girls drown while bathing in canal

Four young girls drowned while bathing in a canal in Sehwan, Sindh, police on Thursday.

The girls were identified as 12-year-old Gul Naz, 10-year-old Amri, eight-year-old Mehnaz, and 10-year-old Asma.

“They were bathing in a canal in Sehwan when they drowned,” police.

“Their bodies were shifted to Syed Abdullah Shah Institute of Medical Sciences in Sehwan,” they added.

As soon as the authorities learnt about the incident, they ordered an operation to fish out the bodies of the youth namely Asghar, Saifullah and Ikram, who belonged to Hazro tehsil of Attock.
