FPSC rejects CSS screening test retake demand after paper leak

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) announced on Monday it would not retake the first-ever screening test for the annual Central Superior Services (CSS) exam amid claims the paper was leaked shortly after its start.

The recruiter said the paper was leaked after the exam ended, and not before it. If it leaks after the exam, it does not affect the examination process, it insisted.

It said that after the exam, the paper was posted on Facebook, adding pages bearing serial no. 41329 were posted on the website.

The rules state the examination staff take back answer sheets from the candidates who are not allowed to bring their mobile phones or any electronic device inside the examination room.

The recruiter believes that images were taken by a supervisor.

As many as 62,000 candidates took the test held on Sunday. The exam was conducted at 297 examination centres in 20 cities across Pakistan.
