NCOC daily update: 3,019 new cases, 44 deaths from Covid-19

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan recorded 3,206 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) said on Sunday.

The NCOC said that the overall cases have surged to 1,483,798, including 1,375,628 recoveries.

The number of active cases had dropped to 78,398, including 1,623 in critical condition.

According to the NCOC data, 41 people died of the disease on Friday, increasing the overall death toll to 29,772.

Sindh is the most-affected province of the country in terms of the number of cases with 557,931 infections, followed by Punjab, which has reported 494,971 cases so far.
