Abu Dhabi crown prince phones PM Imran, strongly condemns Lahore blast

ISLAMABAD: Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Mohamed Bin Zayed on Monday telephoned Prime Minister Imran Khan and condemned the Lahore bomb blast that left three dead.

The crown prince condemned the terrorist attack and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured, the Prime Minister’s Office said in a statement.

The crown prince expressed solidarity with the leadership, government and people of Pakistan while the prime minister thanked the crown prince for his condolences and strong expression of support, the statement added.

Reaffirming Pakistan’s firm resolve to fight terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, the prime minister said that the perpetrators of terrorist attacks will be brought to justice.

The PM expressed Pakistan’s desire to work with the UAE for further strengthening of bilateral ties, enhancing cooperation in the multilateral fora and continuing close coordination on regional and global issues of mutual interest.
