LAHORE: Unidentified persons fired shots at the vehicle of stage comedy veterans Naseem Vicky and Agha Majid in Faisalabad on Saturday.
The vehicle, targeted on Rajbah Road in Faisalabad by two armed men, was damaged in the attack.
Vicky, Majid and Sabina Cinema contractor Raja Tahir were in the car when it was sprayed with bullets.
A case was registered against unidentified attackers at Rail Bazar Police Station.
Vicky said the attackers can’t shut down a theatre by harassing the actors. “You cannot scare us. We earn livelihood for our children through this profession,” he added.
Faisalabad City Police Officer (CPO) Ghulam Mubashir Maken took notice of the incident and ordered the department to arrest the culprits at the earliest.
