NCOC daily update: 244 new cases, 6 deaths from Covid-19

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan confirmed 244 new Covid-19 cases and six more deaths over the last 24 hours, the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) said on Monday.

The NCOC, a department leading the campaign against the pandemic, said the country had confirmed overall 1,289,293 cases so far, including 1,251,409 recoveries.

The country has 9,048 active cases including 731 are in critical condition.

According to the NCOC data, the pandemic killed six people on Sunday, increasing the overall death toll to 28,836.

Sindh is the most affected province of the country in terms of the number of cases with 478,017 infections, followed by Punjab which has reported 443,886 cases so far.
