NCOC daily update: 767 new cases, 19 deaths from Covid-19

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Saturday reported 767 new Covid-19 cases and 19 more deaths, the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) said on Sunday.

The NCOC, a department leading campaign against the pandemic, said the country has conducted 19,867,632 tests and confirmed overall 1,257,955 cases, including 1,187,308 recoveries.

The number of active cases has dropped to 42,541 who are under treatment across the country, while 2,540 are in critical condition.

According to the NCOC, the pandemic killed 19 people on Saturday, increasing the death toll to 28,106.

Sindh is the most affected region of the country in terms of the number of cases with 462,466 infections followed by Punjab which has reported 435,882 infections.
