NAB summons PML-N MPs in assets cases

LAHORE: The National Accountability Bureau summoned two Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) MPs, Javed Latif and Barjees Tahir, in cases of assets beyond declared wealth.

The dirty money watchdog asked Latif to appear before it on September 9 while Tahir has been summoned on the following day.

Latif is accused of accumulating assets worth Rs500 million while Tahir is investigated for being in possession of assets worth Rs300 million. The former said he had not received the notice yet and would appear before the agency only after it is delivered.
