CTD arrests three terrorists from Lahore

LAHORE: The Counter-Terrorism Department arrested three terrorists belonging to a proscribed outfit during an intelligence-based operation in the Dharampura neighbourhood of Lahore late on Friday night.

According to a spokesperson, the militants were identified as Rizwan, Abdul Qayyum and Muhammad Arif and were planning to attack security agencies.

The CTD personnel also recovered improvised explosive devices, two hand grenades, a pistol and explosive material from them.

A case has been registered against them at a CTD police station.
