GUJRANWALA: A shopkeeper raped a six-year-old girl on Friday and escaped the scene. Police arrested the accused during a raid.
According to details, 6-year-old Zainab d/o Umer Farooq went to a shop in neighbourhood in Wazirabad, Gujranwala. Shopkeeper Sufi Rafique raped the minor girl and escaped the scene.
The police, during a raid, arrested the accused who had hidden in a mosque of the area.
The girl was shifted to hospital where she was underwent medical checkup and police after registering a case against detainee started an investigation.
