Grenades hurled at KP minister’s home in Bannu

BANNU: Unknown persons riding a motorbike threw two hand grenades at the house of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Minister for Transport Malik Shah Muhammad Khan Wazir in Bannu on Thursday.

However, the provincial minister was not present at home at the time of the attack.

Guard Naseeb Nawaz, who was injured in the attack, was shifted to District Headquarters Hospital Bannu.

Police said a hunt for unidentified assailants had been launched after the registration of the case.
