The PM’s powers

Another cabinet reshuffling took place on Friday. Consequently, PM appointed ex- PPP minister Shaukat Tareen as Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue by replacing Muhammad Hammad Azhar. However, he has already been a member of the economic and finance committee since April, 2019. Yesterday there was a big debate regarding shifting ministers in TV news channels and we have came to be known that a prime minister in the country has the authority it constitutional powers to appoint any unelected persons. This is for sure that a prime minister in the country can reject any ministers whose performances are not good or not bringing any change. Recently there occured a transpiration since Hammad Azhar got removed after 18 days as it was a short time and was given energy ministry by Prime Minister Imran Khan. In fact it is PM’s wills and directions to run the country in his way whether smoothly or badly. The citizens of Pakistan just want changes in the country and that changes should not be made just on cabinet. I request the government of Pakistan to work actively for the country.

Barkatullah
