AJK to establish land routes with GB to strengthen bilateral linkage: AJK PM

Prime MinisterRaja Muhammad Farooq Haider Khan assured the GBLA that the Azad Kashmir government would also extend full cooperation with the GB government in health, education, and other sectors.

MIRPUR: Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister Raja Muhammad Farooq Haider Khan has said that government of AJK would establish land routes with Gilgit Baltistan (GB) to further strengthen the relations with the GB population.

He was talking to a delegation of members of Gilgit Baltistan Legislative Assembly (GBLA), which had called on to him late on Thursday and was led by Surriya Zaman in the state capital.

The AJK premier said that Azad Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan have a great potential in hydel power and tourism sector, adding that the people of both the regions should share their experiences and expertise to boost the tourism activities in both the regions.

The Kashmiri prime minister said that he is fully aware of the difficulties being faced by the people of GB and urged the Pakistan government to start the work on Triple-M road to overcome the problems of the people of the area.
