PIA to operate flights to another Saudi city

The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has decided to operate flights to Saudi Arabia’s tourist city of Abha from the first week of January.

According to details, the national airline intends to operate two weekly flights to the Saudi Arabian city from Islamabad and Lahore.

The PIA has already approached the Kingdom’s General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) for permission in this regard.

On November 5, Saudi Arabia’s General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) granted Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) permission to operate flights to and from the Kingdom’s Al-Qassim region.

Consequently, the national flag carrier issued its schedule for flights, with the first flight flying to the new station from Multan on November 18.
