Seven pulled from rubble after house wall collapse

LAHORE: Rescue 1122 said seven people were recovered alive after a house wall collapsed in Lahore's Nain Sukh area near Jamal Mustafa Mosque.

According to the emergency service, teams were dispatched to the site after receiving information about the incident. Its Urban Search and Rescue team then carried out an operation and brought all seven victims out from under the debris.

Rescue 1122 officials said one woman suffered serious head injuries, while the other injured people were also given medical assistance. All of the victims were moved to Mayo Hospital for further treatment.

The rescue operation was wrapped up after officials confirmed that nobody else was trapped beneath the rubble, Rescue 1122 said.
