LAHORE: Two children died while their mother was seriously injured when the roof of a dilapidated house collapsed on Saturday, Rescue sources said.
According to details, the dilapidated roof of a house located in Youhanabad area of Lahore suddenly came down due to which three family members, including a mother and her two children, were buried under the debris.
The Rescue personnel pulled out the bodies of seven-year-old Samran and nine-year-old Chahat, and their injured mother Chanda from the rubble and shifted them to Lahore General Hospital for medico-legal formalities.
The bodies of two children were handed over to heirs after postmortem and their injured mother was under treatment in critical condition.
