CCPO reviews security for Chinese nationals, speeds Afghan repatriation
Lahore CCPO Bilal Siddique Kamyana chaired a meeting on security for Chinese nationals and foreign consulates, and directed police to expedite the government’s repatriation drive for illegally residing Afghan nationals.

LAHORE: Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Bilal Siddique Kamyana on Friday chaired a high-level meeting to review security arrangements for Chinese nationals and other foreign citizens in Lahore, while also assessing progress on the ongoing repatriation of illegally residing Afghan nationals.

During the meeting at the CCPO's office, Kamyana directed police officers to ensure foolproof security at the residences, workplaces and other sensitive locations associated with Chinese nationals. He also instructed the police to further strengthen security measures at foreign consulates in the provincial capital.

The meeting also took stock of progress on the government's drive to repatriate illegally residing Afghan nationals. The CCPO directed the relevant police officers to further expedite the repatriation process to ensure effective implementation of the government's policy.

DIG (Admin) Imran Kishwar, DIG (Investigation) Zeeshan Raza, SSP (Investigation) Muhammad Naveed, SSP (Operations) Tauqeer Muhammad Naeem and divisional SPs attended the meeting.
