Sharjeel says Sindh govt will answer critics through development work

KARACHI: Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon on Monday said the provincial government had demonstrated its performance through tangible work rather than political rhetoric, while urging the opposition to join hands on issues of public welfare.

In a statement, Memon said the Pakistan Peoples Party believed in serving citizens through development and practical action. He said the government had focused on delivering results instead of making claims, and maintained that the benefits of governance came from service and problem-solving rather than political confrontation.

Addressing rival parties, Memon said his party was prepared to work with opponents in the public interest. He said political competition should not stand in the way of service delivery, and argued that the Sindh government was addressing public problems through concrete measures and public-oriented initiatives.

He also criticised rival political actors for what he described as a reliance on allegations and point-scoring through frequent press conferences. Memon said the PPP leadership had consistently placed public service first and added that the government's response to its critics would be more development schemes, expanded facilities and continued service for the people.
