Two harassers maimed in ‘accident’ while escaping police in Faisalabad
Police in Faisalabad arrested two suspects after they were injured in a motorcycle crash while allegedly trying to flee during a raid. The case was registered after a video showing a girl being harassed in Bilal Nagar went viral.

TOBA TEK SINGH: Two suspects seen in a viral video allegedly harassing a girl in Faisalabad were injured and arrested after their motorcycle crashed during a police chase, according to police.
The incident stemmed from a video circulated on social media showing a group of boys in the Bilal Nagar area harassing a girl, using abusive language and making indecent gestures. Faisalabad City Police Officer Tanveer Hussain took notice of the footage, after which police registered a case on the complaint of the victim, Samar Fatima, against two named suspects and two unidentified boys.
A police team led by Batala Colony SHO Zaheer Akhtar carried out a raid in Bilal Nagar to arrest the nominated suspects, identified as Hasnain and Jabbar. Police said the two men fled on a motorcycle after seeing officers approach, prompting a chase.
According to police, the suspects lost control of the motorcycle at high speed near Ganda Khoh Chowk and crashed into an electric pole. Both men suffered broken legs in the accident. They were then taken into custody and shifted to hospital for treatment.
