Two arrested over harassment

LAHORE: Police have arrested two men, including a roadside petrol seller, on allegations of harassing a woman in Sidhu Pura after a video of the incident circulated on social media.

The suspects were identified as Intizar Hussain alias Billa and Suleman alias Ehtesham. They were accused of passing inappropriate remarks at a woman who was passing by their petrol outlet on Shafee Cheela Road.

The incident was recorded and later shared online, after which City Police Officer Tanveer Hussain ordered immediate action.

Police registered a case against both men under relevant sections of the Pakistan Penal Code and took them into custody.
