LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz congratulated the nation on the victory in “Bunyanum Marsoos”, stating that Pakistan had crushed the arrogance of anyone attempting to cross the country’s “red line”.
Addressing the “Marka-e-Haq Solidarity Ceremony” held at the Wagah Border on the completion of one year of Marka-e-Haq, she said, “Today we stand at the threshold from where Pakistan’s border begins. This red line is not confined to this place alone; it is drawn in the hearts of Pakistanis.”

She said anyone who had ever dreamed of crossing this red line had seen their arrogance reduced to dust by Pakistan. “When the enemy attacked, Pakistan demonstrated that we are all Bunyanum Marsoos,” she added.
The Punjab chief minister said the 250 million people of Pakistan stood united with the armed forces “like a wall of molten lead.” She paid rich tribute to the martyrs of the Pakistan Army, saying they had sacrificed their lives to protect the country, its soil, and its people.

“I salute the mothers of the martyrs who buttoned up their sons’ uniforms and told them not to hesitate in sacrificing their lives if the homeland required it,” she said, also paying tribute to the wives and children of martyrs for their sacrifices.
She said martyrs were alive as promised in the Holy Quran and were in a place of divine mercy where there was neither grief nor fear.
The chief minister added that victory never came alone but included all those who stayed awake at night for the country and whose hearts beat for Pakistan.

Paying tribute to former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, CM Maryam Nawaz said he ignored international pressure and made Pakistan a nuclear power by the grace of Allah Almighty. She added that the JF-17 Thunder aircraft, which Pakistan proudly possesses today, were also developed during his tenure.
She also praised Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for stabilising the national economy and elevating Pakistan’s global standing.
The chief minister lauded Field Marshal Asim Munir for safeguarding the trust of 250 million Pakistanis and responding decisively to the enemy at the right time.
She said the entire nation saluted the Pakistan Army, Navy, Air Force and Rangers for their sacrifices and services.
CM Maryam Nawaz further said Pakistan had also achieved another diplomatic victory on the global front under the leadership of the prime minister and Field Marshal Asim Munir “without firing a bullet or raising a sword.”
“Whenever history is written, it will record that Pakistan prevented the most dangerous war of three,” she said, adding that countries which once placed Pakistan under pressure were now praising it.
Concluding her remarks, she congratulated the nation once again and prayed for Pakistan’s progress, prosperity, and the safety of the armed forces and citizens.
The ceremony was attended by provincial ministers and a large number of citizens. The chief minister laid flowers at the martyrs’ memorial, while patriotic songs and chants of “Pakistan Zindabad” echoed across the venue.
