Alizeh Shah and singer Zoha Waseem have found themselves at the center of a fast-spreading online feud after accusations of auto-tune use during a rehearsal performance triggered a heated exchange of insults across social media.
The controversy began when Zoha Waseem performed her trending track Majboor during a rehearsal set. The clip showed her visibly frustrated with the crew for not playing the correct portion of the track, a moment that quickly went viral and drew criticism over alleged use of auto-tune.
Soon after, Alizeh Shah took to Instagram Stories and did not hold back.
“Guys, she needs attention. God, jealousy on top. People don’t look at you and you are getting jealous of others,” she wrote, referencing alleged comments circulating online that were attributed to Waseem.
She followed up with a more direct attack, saying: “Learn how to sing your song without a tone, first. It’s not such horrible times that I have to be jealous of you.”
Shah escalated the criticism further, questioning Waseem’s sudden rise in popularity.
“Did anyone even know you before this stupid song? Get well soon, girl. You got four days of hype, don’t go overboard,” she added.
In another viral moment, Shah was also seen mimicking Waseem’s voice while covering her nose, mocking the repeated chorus of Majboor and saying she was tired of hearing the same lyrics.
Zoha Waseem responded shortly after, pushing back against the backlash and clarifying that she had been targeted with fake posts. She stated that the account circulating the alleged messages was not her official page, adding that only her verified Instagram represents her.
Waseem then addressed the controversy with a sarcastic jab of her own, saying: “Next time I will use better auto-tune, guys.”
The exchange immediately split social media. Some users backed Shah’s criticism, pointing to the rehearsal clip and questioning vocal authenticity. Others defended Waseem, sharing older live performance clips and praising her singing ability.
Zoha Waseem’s track Majboor, featuring Sheheryar Rehan, was released in September 2025 and has since crossed 22.7 million streams, further intensifying attention around both the song and the controversy.
What started as a rehearsal clip has now turned into a full-blown celebrity clash — complete with sarcasm, accusations, and no signs of cooling down online.
