RAWALPINDI: An unidentified person hurled stones at a green electric bus on Peshawar Road on Tuesday, damaging one of its windows and causing alarm among passengers, according to police and the first information report lodged over the incident.

The complaint was filed by Rhiraz Ahmad, a route officer for the green electric bus service. He told police that he was travelling from Marir Chowk to Motorway Moor when the vehicle came under attack near Charing Cross on Peshawar Road.

According to the FIR, around 100 passengers, including women and children, were on board the bus at the time. A stone struck the window glass on the conductor’s side, breaking it. No passenger was injured in the incident, while the suspect escaped from the scene.
