Road crashes leave 17 dead across Pakistan
At least 17 people were killed in separate road crashes across Pakistan, underscoring the ongoing road safety crisis in the country.

LAHORE: At least 17 people lost their lives and 3,094 others were injured in 2,360 road traffic crashes reported across Punjab over the past 24 hours.
Following the incidents, 1,559 injured individuals were transported to hospitals, while 1,535 with minor injuries received on-site treatment from Rescue medical teams.
Data shows that around 80 per cent of the accidents involved motorcycles. Among those affected were 1,484 adult drivers, 150 underage drivers, 258 pedestrians and 1,369 passengers.
Lahore recorded the highest number of incidents, with 346 accidents leaving 495 people injured. Faisalabad followed with 137 crashes and 169 victims, while Multan reported 132 accidents affecting 162 individuals.
