Crisis in Chitral

Many homes and roads have been destroyed in Chitral due to continuous rain. Frequent landslidings have made things worse. It had happened last year as well, and people hoped that the administration would be in a better position to handle the situation this year. Although the local administration and emergency agencies tried their best to facilitate the affected people, their efforts fell way short. The lack of attention from provincial and central governments is lamentable. Chitral has become more vulnerable to climate change over the last few years. The relevant departments should pay attention to the concerns of the people of Chitral.
