KARACHI: A pitiless teacher threw acid on a girl student over rejecting his friendship proposal, police said on Sunday.
According to details, the incident took place in Nipa Chowrangi where a teacher identified as Iftikhar asked a girl student visiting coaching centre for IT certificate to enter in friendship with him.
The girl used harsh language with teacher over friendship proposal and along with maternal uncle reached coaching centre to lodge a complaint with administration.
The disgruntled teacher threw acid at student injuring her critically.
The injured female student was shifted to hospital for treatment and police after registering a case against the accused started investigations.
