— PTI spokesperson reiterates demand of independent probe through judges of SC

ISLAMABAD: While strongly rejecting the government’s resolution relating to May 9 incidents, Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) termed the resolution a shameful attempt to protect the perpetrators of May 9 incidents of arson and attacking military buildings and to blame PTI and its Chairman Imran Khan for the arsons.

The PTI spokesperson went on to say that the Assembly Rules did not allow the House to run outside of the rules and to bring actions contrary to the Constitution on the agenda.

It was said that the PDM government’s use of rules and laws against the parliament for its nefarious political ambitions, which was not only shameful but condemnable.

PTI spokesperson reiterated the demand of an independent investigation through the judges of the Supreme Court to determine the real planners of the events of May 9.

It was said that unjustified actions based on revenge against PTI should be stopped immediately.

PTI Spokesperson said that instead of military courts, the judicial system under the constitution should be used and attention should be given to the reform and strengthening of the justice system.

The spokesperson alarmed that replacing justice system with system of vengeance was poisonous for the society and democracy.
