The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) has changed the exam model of compulsory subjects for matriculation and intermediate levels. The exam will be based on student learning outcomes using the curriculum-based model. This change will encourage critical thinking among the students. The new model will help them get rid of outdated course books and rote-learning. Students will be able to use a variety of sources for learning instead of relying on books only. All the other boards should follow in FBISE’s footsteps.
